Sure did! Now we're not. Same guys, cooler name.
WHAT DO YOU COST, AND WHAT'S INCLUDED?
Photography is $3,900 and film is $3,700 - nice and easy! Both packages include coverage from your preparations right up until the end of your formalities (up to 10 hours). Your photography package comes with 500+ photos provided in high resolution on a beautiful wooden USB in a matching wooden box filled with a stack of 6x4 prints. Your film package comes with a 5-7 minute highlights film, as well as a copy of your ceremony + speeches. The film is supplied on a handcrafted wooden USB, housed in a beautiful glass jar.
ALL DAY COVERAGE - DO WE REALLY NEED THAT?
To tell the story of your wedding day properly - absolutely! We make sure we cover both the bride and grooms preparations, the ceremony, family photos, the "nice photos" session, a quick breather - and then right up until the end of your formalities. If you'd like us to stick around until the end of the evening, extra hours can be purchased.
IS IT JUST STEVE & KYLE SHOOTING ON THE DAY?
You bet! Take our word for it, you don't want any more than just the two of us capturing you on your wedding day. We've seen it...it gets cramped.
Every wedding you'll see on this website was shot by either Steve or Kyle. If you book our services individually, sometimes the other will tag along to give a helping hand on the day, but really; that's it!
CAN WE MEET? PLEASE?
You betcha! We absolutely encourage anyone reading this (yes - that means you!) to pop by the studio at least once before the wedding; be that at the time of booking, or a few weeks before the big day. If that's a little tricky due to geographical or scheduling reasons - we're equally happy to Skype, Facetime, phone call etc.
THE HIGHLIGHTs film MUSIC - WHO CHOOSES THAT?
That would be us! After your wedding, we like to think we have a pretty good idea of who you are, what the vibe of the wedding was; and after listening to your music selections on the day - what style you're into! From there we source a song that we feel compliments your wedding video perfectly.
One thing we won't do is drop this weeks chart topper into your video, and thats for a few reasons - the first being, we're not super into breaking the law! Often songs like that can cost thousands of dollars to license (a fee we can't in good conscience lump onto you), and using a song without said license is a big no-no! The other reason is, you know how there's some songs you'll hear over and over again, and it gets to a point where if you hear it again; you'll rip your hair out? We really don't want that to be the case with your wedding music. Chances are, the only time you'll ever hear the song we choose is when you're watching your wedding video - and we think that's kind of nice.
TRAVELLING FOR A WEDDING - HOW DOES THAT WORK?
We love to travel. In and around the greater Melbourne area, including the Yarra Valley, Dandenongs, Geelong and Macedon - travel is included free of charge.
For greater distances, including interstate & international weddings - give us a call; it's incredibly likely we'll be able to put together something pretty spectacular for you!
CAN WE ASK YOU TO STAY A LITTLE LONGER ON THE DAY?
You certainly can! Extra hours can be purchased in the lead up to your wedding. Extra hours purchased on the night will incur an extra fee.
WHAT'S THE DEAL WITH FAMILY PHOTOS?
They can be interesting - and super time consuming! We do ask that in the lead up to the day you put together a list of photo combinations you would like captured. Just your basic groups (immediate family on both sides, brothers, sisters etc). Anything more starts eating into your portrait time, so we recommend getting the guest with the nicest camera to grab anything extra later in the evening.
On the day, if you could also point us in the direction of the guest with the loudest voice, we'll get them to be our people wrangler!

HOW LONG BETWEEN THE WEDDING AND WHEN WE RECEIVE OUR FINISHED PRODUCTS?
It varies a little bit depending on the season. We get obscenely busy over the Summer, so typically we allow 8-12 weeks for your photos and 12-16 weeks for your video. During the quieter period, you can expect that time to drop to 6-8 weeks for photos and 8-12 weeks for video.
CAN YOU HOLD ONTO OUR WEDDING DATE WHILE WE DECIDE?
Unfortunately, no. Wedding dates are moving targets, and what we have today may not be the case tomorrow. As a result - whoever pays their deposit first gets the date.
ALRIGHT, YOU'RE OUR GUYS! HOW DO WE BOOK?
Let's get to know each other a little bit first either by catching up at our studio, or chatting over the phone. We want to make sure we're definitely a match for you before going ahead with anything. From there we can confirm the date is available and book you in. Once you're ready, we'll email you a link to our secure booking website where you can sign your contract, pay the 30% retainer - and then that's it! You're now a member of the Allsorts Pictures family.
HOW ABOUT ENGAGEMENT PHOTOSHOOTS - DO YOU OFFER THOSE?
You bet! Our engagement sessions typically last 1 hour in either the Yarra Valley or Dandenong Ranges. Ideally we try to shoot on a Monday to Thursday about two hours before sunset. Contact us for pricing and availability.
